From March 23, 2022
To March 26, 2022
In 2022, after a forced Corona pause, the 8th Belgium-Romania Forum will take place in Belgium. The Thomas More University College in Geel will host this 8th edition from March 23 to 26, 2022.
It will be a challenging opportunity to discuss the state of decentralized cooperation between the two countries after more than 30 years of cooperation.
The organizing committee has chosen “Resilience” as the central theme: “The ability to recover from setbacks and draw positive lessons from them for the future.”
This 8th Forum aims to focus on the role of local decentralized action groups in implementing and realizing European and national priorities. The UN Sustainable Development Goals and the EU’s 2021-2027 European Long-term Plan and NextGenerationEU (also known as the Multiannual Financial Framework – MFF) will be our guide to roll out concrete resilience projects between Romania and Belgium.
We look forward to meeting YOU in the “Mercy City” Geel with the slogan “You get there, you stay there” in March 2022!
